This design is brimming with contrast…

For example, the black shadow of the woman and the car against the white of the actual body of the car, the pattern of the squares at the bottom against the white negative space of the background, also, the texture of the wings against the background, the soft edges of the birds vs the hard edges of the car, the light and dark tones of the skin their faces, the warm and cool temperatures of the red/pink/yellow shades vs the blue/purple/green shades of the squares, the intense colour of her green top against the neutral colour of the wings and finally the geometric shapes of the car vs the organic shape of the wings. Also, all the different elements of the different fonts used in the text.

1st piece of work

This piece was created as the cover of my end of year port folio last year. I took a few different aspects of a few of the works i had done and put them all together as one.

I know I've used a lot of negative space with the white and I could fill it up, but I really wanted to keep it fairly clean and simple.
